Geolocation often has a negative connotation.

However, it could be very useful to you to prove your overtime.

Demonstration.

1) How to use Google Maps geolocation to prove your overtime?

1.1) Google Maps geolocation: means of proving your overtime

Any evidence is admissible.

It is therefore possible to produce Google Maps position records to justify the hours during which you were at your workplace.

Although to our knowledge no jurisdiction has ruled on the sufficiently precise nature of such a position record, it seems very likely that this evidence will be favorably received by the judges.

However, to be able to have such a position record, it is necessary to activate permanent geolocation on the Google Maps application.

If your geolocation was already activated, you just have to go to the Google Maps application on your mobile phone, click on your profile picture, then on "Your journeys".

Your position report for the day is then displayed.

You can then access the previous days by scrolling.
