As a non-resident, you must declare taxable income from French sources in France, in accordance with the tax treaty concluded with your country of residence.
However, even if your income is taxed in France, you must contact a tax advisor/ the tax authorities of your State of residence in order to know your reporting obligations. Indeed, your State of residence may require the annual declaration of all of your income, regardless of the source, whether French or foreign.
The French tax authorities have published 18 December 2024 36 practical sheets (available in English) on income to be declared by country. These practical sheets are not exhaustive, reading and analysis of the tax treaty remain necessary.
